Our Anne Blouse in Colonial Ecru is featured in the July cover of Telva Magazine.
Cut in high quality cotton gauze fabric, it includes delicate lace inserts along the neckline, cuff, sleeve and body. The delicate two-tone embroidery runs along the chest and shoulder, and during the design process we decided to include matching strings and pom-poms.
It is, without doubt, the blouse for this season.
This blouse fits true to size – choose your usual size. The model is 1,76cm and wears size S.
Coming from the fast-paced corporate world, we took the decision to go into slow mode. Feeding our eternal curiosity by travelling, building meaningful connections and spending time near the ocean we learned about creativity’s capacity to heal.
After an unusual set of events which culminated in a bizarre encounter with a French chef-cum-fashion designer in Jaipur, we decided to create Maison Hotel - a bohemian fashion brand inspired by what we love, and by all things authentic.
Without any prior knowledge of the fashion industry we embarked on a self-instructed voyage on fashion design, traditional weaving techniques and distinct embroidery skills with the aim of creating timeless pieces with a vintage spirit.
From idea inception and fabric sourcing in Rajasthan, scouting locations for campaign shoots and presenting the collections at showrooms across the world, the curious nature of our story has ensured that both of us nurture the process from start to finish.
